Charity collaboration 〰️

Headway

Beginning in September 2023, I collaborated with Headway on a project to inspire our audiences to shop second hand and generate awareness of the charity. I achieved this through the curation of a vintage department and digital content creation across multiple platforms. I now volunteer with the charity twice a week.

Vintage Curation

My main role within the collaboration was to identify vintage pieces from Headway donations and curate them into a dedicated department in the Beeston store. I managed the visual merchandising and arranged the vintage items across 3 rails, shelving and the window. I also worked with a local print company to design branded swing tags, paper bags and key rings.

Content Creation

Alongside my role as vintage curator, I created promotional content which showcased the styling potential of the amazing items found in the charity shops.

Volunteering

I enjoyed working on this project so much that I immediately started volunteering in the shop twice weekly which has enabled me to connect with my community. Here, I serve customers, process donations, replenish stock and dress the windows.

Client feedback

"So exciting to see this collaboration now in place with Headway and Love at First Sight Vintage. It has come together fantastically well and the feedback so far from our customers has been so positive"

Julie Chambers, Headway charity shop Area Manager
